12pm Wednesday 16th – Early evening of Friday 18th October 2024.

What can I do with this qualification?
Be part of this exciting new programme Flow Dance Meditation. Be ahead of the curve and be one of the first instructors to share this exciting new practice. You will be able to share Flow Dance Meditation at studios, fitness centres, festivals, retreats and communities around the world. Join this expanding community of facilitators that through holding space for others, encourage and guide participants in self-expression, discovery and creating deeper connections to themselves through movement.
How will I be assessed?
You will be informally assessed throughout the three days. We aim to make your learning environment as supportive as possible and will provide consistent guidance. You will also have a one-to-one session with course facilitators Lindsay and Nathan to reflect on your learning and have the opportunity to receive individual feedback and support. Towards the end of the course, there will be a group taught assessment where you will co-create with both Lindsay and your fellow trainees and team teach a Flow Dance Meditation.
Who can do this training course?
This course is for anyone with a passion for dance, embodiment, somatic movement, meditation and helping others live a more heart centered life in this transitioning time in the world. There are no prerequisites, although if you have a background or passion for yoga, dance, meditation, or healing and holding space, this would be helpful, but not essential.
On-going Support
Flow Dance Meditation Facilitator Training
Instructors will receive on-going support and guidance in their journey into becoming a successful facilitator of this programme. There is an online group you will be invited to join with both Lindsay and Nathan, the team, and your fellow instructors. Regular new music mixed by Nathan will be available. Support will be covered in detail on the course.

How to book
Bookings can be made by clicking on the booking link below. You can make a deposit booking of £300 to confirm your place, paying the remaining balance by four weeks before the training. Payment can be made in installmants if preferred. You may notice that when booking you will be taken to and YogaFit Retreats website, Lindsay’s retreat company, this is completely normal.
FAQs
What does a typical day on the training look like?
We will be commencing our training with a Masterclass with Lindsay and live music from Nathan.
Our mornings will begin with a nature walk and embodiment practices followed by breakfast. Our main learning sessions will begin around 9am, with a break for lunch and continuing in the afternoon. Sessions will include: The Method of Flow Dance Meditation, embodiment practices, breathwork, trauma informed facilitating, somatic therapy, the power and science of music and breakdowns of the class sections; ‘Connect’, ‘Move’ and ‘Release’. On our final day you will complete a team-taught class and have a one-to-one reflective session with facilitators Lindsay or Nathan. After dinner sessions will include; sharing circles, TRE, a sound bath and bedtime meditations.
Accommodation.
Rooms in all venues are available on either a single or shared double occupancy basis. If you have someone who you would like to share a room with, please let us know this when booking.If not, we will pair students who book the shared occupancy together. If you would like to book any additional nights either side of the training course please get in touch with us to arrange this. Prices for an extra all inclusive night is £85 sharing per person and £110 for a single room.
What is not included?
Transport to and from the hotel is not included and will need to be arranged by yourself.
Flights – currently available from approximately £40 and we recommend using skyscanner.net to check all of the airlines. Flight availability normally appears up to 6 months in advance with most airlines.
Transfers – Licensed taxis are €45 approximately each way. Car hire is normally very inexpensive, do ask us for a website recommendation.
Meals – Dietary requirements
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks will be provided. All dietary requirements can be met by the hotel caterers, including plant-based, coeliac, lactose-intolerant, as well as any other allergies. Please let us know about any special dietary needs on booking so we can ensure any specific needs are met. Both cold and hot drinks are available from the hotel bars throughout the day. We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle with you.
What do I need to bring with me?
Yoga mats and blankets will be provided for use, however please feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Please bring a notebook for learning sessions and/or a journal for self nightly reflection, some pens and a refillable water bottle.
Bring comfortable clothing that can be worn for both movement sessions and being more still. Plus something warm for evenings is a good idea and your swimwear.
